Hill­top Leaf is estab­lish­ing a large-scale med­i­c­i­nal cannabis cen­tre in a remote area, and Mit­mark Secu­ri­ty are lead­ing the secu­ri­ty effort by design­ing and installing a bespoke secu­ri­ty solu­tion for the med­ical research labs. Mit­mark Secu­ri­ty Con­sul­tants are approved by the Home Office to design and install the secu­ri­ty sys­tems, and have sup­port­ed the client to achieve full licens­ing and accred­i­ta­tion. Work­ing togeth­er with Hill­top Leaf, Mit­mark Secu­ri­ty is installing a com­plete secu­ri­ty sys­tem, ensur­ing all staff and equip­ment is ful­ly pro­tect­ed. Our pri­ma­ry focus was to devel­op and imple­ment robust secu­ri­ty mea­sures that would safe­guard the staff and premis­es, ensure full com­pli­ance with the Home Office licence require­ments, and mit­i­gate any poten­tial secu­ri­ty risks in this unique environment.

This project requires an excep­tion­al­ly high lev­el of secu­ri­ty due to the nature of the site, and our team of experts met this chal­lenge by pro­vid­ing a ful­ly inte­grat­ed secu­ri­ty sys­tem com­bin­ing CCTV cam­eras, access con­trol equip­ment and intrud­er mon­i­tor­ing sys­tems through­out the site. Access con­trol sys­tems includ­ing key­card access will ensure staff mem­bers have access only to required areas, form­ing a hier­ar­chi­cal access con­trol frame­work to pro­tect autho­rised per­son­nel and ensure reg­u­la­to­ry compliance.
